‘Space Between Stories’ was a line I read in an essay coined by Charles Eisenstein. For me it is that unspeakable fuzzy transition where you can’t quite put words to yet… waking from a dream. Jetleg. Reentry. The fluttery feeling of a first date… the potential of what will come. How to speak of this time in our lives yet not revealed? How to make meaning? The beauty of the in between and the unknown.
Painting is like this for me. Making meaning from colors and marks. From walks alone and with friends in Tilden park to early morning coffee pondering. Travels. Intuition. A time of reflection and slowing down…
